Chapter two: the System Seth ran of into a restaurant called “The Sailors Boat”. “What was that all about?’’ Lisa said. “I’m hungry!” whined Taylor. “Shut up!” Lisa replied angrily. “Lisa! Don’t you dare talk to Taylor like that!” Beatrice snapped. “There’s a restaurant over there. It’s called the Sailors Boat.” Said Lara, distractedly. “That seems ok.” Beatrice said. The four of them walked over to the restaurant. Inside, the floor was checkered, In the back of the room there was a bar with a big wood table, surrounded by odd looking people that looked like they were betting something that looked like a circular card with a moving swirl in the middle. At the top of the wall was a menu. It listed: Sandwiches: Malident’n’baronts (Ingredients: marazenta bread, Malidents, Casdia shell, with a side of baronts.) Grindos Tamel Sandwich (Ingredients: Grindos, JoGo sauce, Gofter stems, with a side of baronts or Targles. Marazenta Bread.) Leasp Entora (Ingredients: Leasp Shavings, Entora sauce, Cici shells, with a side of kiclep or watregs. Anato Bread) Reprep Majontre (Ingredients: JoGo sauce, Reprep eggs, Majontre Bread.) Kids Menu: ? Harglesart do: (Ingredients: Harglesart cheese, Do sauce. Jorgofotanio Bread.) Beatrice skimmed through the following soup menus and smoothie ones. Finally she said “I haven’t the slightest idea of what these signs say.” “That still doesn’t change the fact that I’m HUNGRY!’’ Taylor said. “Ok! Ok! We know already!” Said Lisa. “Let’s just get some food!” Lara said, giving a hint of her annoyance. Beatrice walked over to the counter. “Hello! Welcome to the Sailors boat!” Said a lady with bright pink hair and a sailors dress similar to the one the girl was wearing when she met Seth. “Ugh! Another costumer!” She said under her breathe. “How can I help you?” “Well, I’d just like to get a Hargelsort doe and three Leasp Entaro’s” Beatrice said. “Okay, coming right up!” Said the lady. And then again under her breathe she said. “And worst of all! They’re Tourists!” Taylor leapt to a table with a booth. Lisa and Lara followed, looking rather glum. Soon Beatrice joined the table. “What in the world?!?!” Lisa said, raising her eyebrows. “Um… Lisa, I think that’s our food. Not gran’s old raisin cookies.” Said Lara, reading Lisa’s mind. Their grandmother cooked gross raisin cookies that tasted like pepper and sugar and licorice and wonder bread all mixed together, which in fact it was. They also looked quite like a sandwich but with brown goop oozing out onto the bread. “Just eat.” Said Beatrice softly. Lisa looked at her menacingly; Beatrice glared right back as if they were fist fighting with eyes. Taylor was the first one to take a bite. “Mmm! Yum! These are so good!” Was her first comment. Then Lara took a bite. A wide grin spread across her face, signaling for Lisa and Beatrice to take a bite. Finally, after several suspicious looks at the sandwich, they bit it. “Wow!” was all Lisa said and nothing else until she finished eating. Their sandwiches were gone in half an hour. They exited with full stomachs and happy thoughts. Seth was outside talking to Mel. I soon as Mel saw Beatrice she talked a bit quieter. Finally she said, “Hey guys! Guess what I just heard!” Seth and Mel walked over to a bench as the four sisters’s followed. The bench was red and squishy. Not like a cushion, like a big blotch of goop. Lara felt sick, whispered it to Lisa but Lisa just said “Your sick about red goop! It’s not like it’s gonna kill you!” “So what did you hear?” Taylor said. “Aw, isn’t she cute?” Said Mel. “So, I just heard that someone bet 50, 000 Yointings that he can do Tygorerio charm!” Beatrice had not paid for the meal… Luckily nothing happened. Lara felt so bad...she slowly slipped out on to the rock...BANG!
